HELLO AGAIN.

I’D LIKE TO TELL YOU A COUPLE OF STORIES.

PROFESSIONAL STORY

Once upon a time…

My work life began with making corndogs and lemonade (we were kind of famous). Fast forward many years and you’ll find experience in marketing, public relations, social media, innovation, events and other bespoke projects.

My background has generated a uniquely holistic perspective. I’ve worked inside agencies and independently. I’ve strategized. Executed. Created content. Cajoled influencers. Wrangled media. Built communities. Coached leaders. Trained groups on most of the above, and then some.

My special sauce? Equal parts experience, strategic thinking, informed intuition, emotional intelligence, and rarely taking “no” or “can’t” for an answer. (Plus fun!)

Folks I’ve worked with include…

  • 3M
  • AOL
  • City of Hope
  • Common Purpose
  • Dole
  • Johnson & Johnson
  • Kellogg’s
  • Mars
  • Molson-Coors
  • Novartis
  • RedJack
  • Relax The Back
  • Seed Media Group
  • Snapple
  • Sweet ‘N Low
  • Vitamin Angels

REINTRODUCE MYSELF…

PERSONAL STORY

“There was a little girl who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead. When she was good, she was very, very good, but when she was bad she was horrid.” – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

That’s what my grandmother used to say. Can’t claim she was wrong. I like to think I grew out of my horridness after teenagehood. The “horrid” things now usually have to do with breaking cultural norms or doing things that more risk-averse folks might find insane.

At the time of this scribing, I’ve spent time in 21 countries on 5 continents, mostly traveling solo. Through all of it, I’ve become an expert at making lemonade out of lemons, friends out of strangers, and homes in unexpected places. I’m probably also the only person you’ll meet who has been bitten by an anaconda.

That said, my day-to-day life is actually pretty tame. I can usually be found with my head down in a laptop, riding a bike through the streets of Venice/NY, or breaking bread and clinking glasses with people who light me up.
